ITBA Announces Yearling Sales Preparation Workshop

Save The Date! ITBA announces its upcoming Yearling Sales Preparation Workshop which will take place on Tuesday 8th August, 2023. This workshop will cover all aspects of a good planning programme in advance of the upcoming Yearling Sales Season.

The morning seminars will cover preparation schedules, veterinary aspects, nutrition and corrective farriery.

- How to prepare a yearling for the sales with Edie Murray-Hayden, Gormanstown Stud

- Veterinary matters to consider when selling a yearling with Mark MacRedmond, Anglesey Lodge

- Nutrition for yearlings with Lorraine Fradl, Senior Equine Nutritionist, Connolly's RED MILLS

- The importance of correct farriery in young stock with Andrew Mahon, Farriery Ireland

The afternoon will comprise of a visit to Baroda Stud for a practical look at showing yearlings and conformation analysis.
