ITBA EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME 2019 – REGIONAL BASED H&S COURSES

Calling ITBA Southern Region Breeders! As part of ITBA’s Educational Programme 2019, we are delighted to announced a series of Health & Safety courses, taking places at regional level in conjunction with a number of stud farms. The first in the series takes place at Mount Coote Stud, Killmallock, Co. Limerick from Tuesday 23rd - Friday 26th July 2019. To reserve your place contact ITBA HQ by phone 045 877543 or by email to kryan@itba.ie. Places will be on a “first come - first served” basis.

Courses:

  • Tuesday 23rd - Thursday 25th July: First Aid Responder Course - 3 Day, with QQ1 Level 4 certification (10.am - 4.30pm daily)

  • Monday 12th August: Manual Handling Course - 1 /2 Day (10.am - 1.pm)

Costs:

  • Manual Handling Individual Modules -€20.00 pp

  • First Aid Responder Workshop- €100 pp

Commenting on this series of regionally based H&S courses, Luke Lillingston, Mount Coote Stud said “Each year ITBA creates and hosts a super education programme for its breeders, allowing us to be well informed on new regulatory arrangements, while offering a tailored series of health & safety courses. For 2019, Mount Coote Stud is delighted to be partnering with ITBA we play host to a three-day First Aid Responder (QQI Level 4) course and a Manual Handling course at the stud farm” Also commenting, ITBA’s Kerry Ryan said “the association would like to thank Luke Lillingston for agreeing to host his fellow breeders at Mount Coote Stud, adding the ITBA continues to encourage its members and the wider bloodstock industry to embrace farm safety.
