Irish Equine Centre Members offer

For the 2024 Season the Irish Equine Centre are once again providing a subsidised Stud Farm Land Assessment Package for €150 ex VAT, for paid ITBA Members.

The package includes testing of a Grass sample for a Full Nutrition and Mineral screen, Water sample tested for both Bacteria and Chemical Profile and 3 Soil samples tested individually for Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), pH, Lime Requirement and Organic Matter.

The goal of this package is to aid the farm in reducing fertilizer costs with targeted compound and organic fertilizer application, determining necessity of lime application and rate, and identify organic matter deficits in soil. Nutrition and mineral analysis of grass will enable the farm to identify deficiencies in their animal’s diet identifying macro and micro nutritional supplementation that may be needed specifically for equines. Also highlighting any surplus harmful minerals in the grass such as iron, aluminium, selenium, and molybdenum. The water analysis will determine the suitability in terms of hygiene and chemical composition for both humans and animal’s drinking from the water source.

For full details on the Stud Farm Land Assessment Package contact the Irish Equine Centre on 045-866 266 or email nutrition@irishequinecentre.ie. Book directly with Irish Equine Centre, quoting your ITBA membership number.

Offer available to ITBA 2024 paid members.
